We keep your personal information linked to your account indefinitely if you have an active (paid) subscription to World Walking. In the event you cancel your paid subscription or are a free member, we will keep your personal data for up to 2 years after your last activity on the website (for example from the last time you added distance to a virtual walk).

If you choose to delete your account, your personal information will be automatically deleted and should be permanently erased from our database backups within a maximum of 28 days.

Anonymised data (including recorded steps) and financial information (including payments made) will be retained indefinitely. However these will not be linked to any personal information once your account is deleted.
